I am an Oslo based visual artist working mainly with video, film and live visual performance.

Growing up on an old Kven farm in the valley Reisadalen in the arctic part of Norway, I was surrounded by beautiful nature and great storytellers – that shaped me a lot. In my work I’m exploring the links between time and identity, often through a Kven or Sámi perspective.

I am interested in veganism and ecofeminism, and find lots of inspiration in nature, dance, history as well as in dark techno clubs. I enjoy collaborating with other artists, and exploring and combining different images and media – also as collages & montages.

While living in Berlin for years I was co-funder of the queer/feminist VJ-collective Tensememori (with Eliana Sola & Marija Lucic) – we did live performances in galleries, clubs and events. I’ve also done experimental films for theater.

My short films and video works have been shown at exhibitions and film festivals in different parts of the world – such as Arctic Moving Image and Film Festival (NO), Imagine Native(CA), CTM Berlin, Atelier Nord(NO), Kunstnernes Hus, Riddu-Riððu(NO), Vårscenefest(NO) and others.
